Martin Nagell has more than 25 years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting and global green infrastructure investing. He spent over 15 years in various roles with Masdar, the UAE’s leading clean energy company, advising the CEO and pioneering the corporate strategy, asset management and M&A execution functions. He has made several contributions to IRENA, the OPSWF network and the IMF on bankable electricity market policies and how to scale renewable energy investments in Emerging and Developing Markets. Prior to joining Masdar, Martin spent 5 years with the Boston Consulting Group, and 5 years with Danske Bank, focusing on value based management and risk, and the execution of M&A and capital markets mandates. He holds a MSc. In finance from the Norwegian School of Economics, and an MBA from Instituto de Empresa.
