Mohammad Shahrour has experience from developing over 3
GW of renewable energy projects across Central Asia and the Middle East. He is currently with Masdar, as a senior manager in the development and investment division and is holding several board positions in JVs representing Masdar’s interests. Prior to joining Masdar, he held a key role in Glencore’s London-based commodities trading division, where he managed risk for a portfolio exceeding USD 1 billion across North America, Europe, and Africa through the use of various derivative instruments. Mohammad holds a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, graduating at the top of his class.
